Underwater mapping

Feature Presentation

15:00 • Norisle history coming home
The S.S. Norisle was a Canadian steam-powered ferry that sailed the route between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island before the Chi-Cheemaun. The Tobermory Maritime Association is in the preliminary stages of a plan to "bring history home" to Tobermory. The plan is to acquire the deteriorating ship and return her home to a final resting place in Little Cove as a heritage dive site. Michael Marcotte, President of the Tobermory Maritime Association, will bring the sequel to the story that was begun at the Shipwrecks 2017 symposium.

Held for divers, by divers —
since 1992.
